KY INBRE Wet-Lab Genomics Summer Workshop

KY INBRE and the University of Louisville Genomics Training and Education Center will be offering a one-week long, in-person wet-lab workshop for undergraduate and graduate students from Kentucky colleges and universities at the University of Louisville. The training will take place on the Health Science Campus of the University of Louisville. Shared occupancy dorms will be available for accepted students from regional colleges. Students will be expected to provide their own food.

Shared occupancy dorms will be available for accepted students from regional colleges. Participation will be by selection through competitive application. Deadline to apply is March 20, 5 pm ET. After March 20, admissions will be on a rolling basis or until capacity is reached.

The workshop will offer hands-on training in:

• RNA/DNA QC

• Library preparation techniques

• Library QC

• Sequencing Run set-up

• Run QC and data analysis steps
