KY INBRE Electron Microscopy and Image Analysis Workshop for Biological Samples
A 4-day workshop to discuss the principles and applications of electron microscopy for biological samples with hands on experience. We will cover sample prep, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and image analysis techniques.

Maximum number of Participants: 12
Breakfast, lunch and refreshments for breaks included.
Campus dormitories can be provided for participants not living in the Louisville area. Supper and travel costs will not be covered by the workshop to out of town participants.
Participant Criteria:
Must be an undergraduate, graduate student or postdoctoral fellow enrolled in a Kentucky institution of higher learning.
Must bring a laptop with a keyboard and mouse (no tablets or desktops) and a USB flash drive with 8 GB of free space.

Day 3: Biological TEM Sample Prep + Biological TEM Training + Imaging (Julia Aebersold)
