Navigating Networking: Connecting Effectively at Conferences

Session Presenter: Heather Dillon

Are you prepared to network? One of the greatest opportunities available to you as a conference attendee is meeting and connecting with new people, however we can sometimes find it challenging to effectively network at these events. In this interactive workshop you will receive tips and gain practical experience navigating networking situations and having conversations with individuals you haven’t met before. Participants will practice entering conversations and evaluate what stands out to others from their introductions. We will further explore how we can frame and share our unique stories to help us make genuine connections and develop meaningful relationships. Join us to learn how you can make the most of your conference experiences by reframing your approach to networking to make it feel more authentic, effective, and even fun!
