The UL Biomedical Integrative Opportunity for Mentored Experience Development Post-baccalaureate Research Education Program (UL-BIOMED-PREP), is an NIH-funded program that provides an extensive paid research experience at UofL. Program is designed to prepare individuals for admission into a biomedical sciences PhD program.
University of Louisville Integrated Programs in Biomedical Sciences (IPIBS)

Students in the IPIBS program work with faculty in the School of Medicine which provides many research opportunities. Acceptance into one of the five basic science departments provides access to research labs across the basic sciences, as well as within clinical departments or research centers.
