Student Wellness Strategies

Session Presenter: Dr. Corrine Williams

This presentation will discuss strategies for supporting holistic student wellness, including opportunities for both mentors and students to engage in helpful behaviors. While higher education comes with unique challenges at times, due to student development and regular life stage changes, additional resources have been allocated at many institutions, and regular work is being done to help support student wellness, particularly student mental health. Participants will walk away with concrete strategies for supporting the wellness of themselves and those around them.

Our presenter will provide suggestions on what mentors can do to help students and share some positive behaviors for students to engage in themselves.
